Ricoh ranked 48th in Carbon Clean200™ 2026 list by Corporate Knights and As You Sow
Ricoh today announced that it ranked 48th in the Carbon Clean200™, a global list of 200 publicly traded companies advancing the transition to a sustainable economy through clean energy, electrification, efficiency and enabling technologies. This marks the eighth consecutive year Ricoh has been included in the Clean200 since its inception in 2019. The ranking underscores the growing contribution of Ricoh's products and services that help customers reduce environmental impact, including solutions that support energy and resource conservation and energy generation.
The Clean200 list is an annual ranking published by Corporate Knights, a Canadian research and media company, in collaboration with As You Sow, a U.S.-based nonprofit organisation that promotes environmental and social responsibility through shareholder advocacy. The ranking draws on Corporate Knights' Clean Revenue Database, which assesses the share of a company's revenue derived from businesses that contribute to the clean economy. The methodology excludes companies such as those involved in fossil fuels or deforestation. For 2026, the top 200 companies were selected from 30 countries out of a pool of 8,229 global companies. Ricoh was among 27 companies in the Information Technology sector included on the 2026 list. This sector generated the largest share of sustainable revenue among Clean200 companies, accounting for more than one-quarter of the total.
Ricoh's approach to sustainability is to pursue a sustainable society through a Three Ps Balance — Prosperity (economic), People (society), and Planet (environment). To realise this desired society, Ricoh has identified seven material issues in two areas, “Resolving social issues through business” and “Robust management infrastructure,” and set 16 ESG targets in linkage with the material to work toward solving these issues. Under the policy to align ESG with business growth, Ricoh will continue to enhance sustainability efforts.
