Ricoh CEMARS Accreditation

17 Sep 2019

As September 2019, Ricoh is incorporating the CEMARS certification for printing service (machine operation). This means that while Ricoh will continue to measure, manage and reduce the footprint of service carbon emissions, it will no longer offset this through carbon credits.

Ricoh’s organisational emissions will remain CarboNZero certified and will continue to be offset. This resource will instead be re-invested into proposed and existing sustainability initiatives designed to further reduce Ricoh’s organisational carbon emissions—such as investment in renewable energy and electric transport.

This decision was made with sustainability in mind. By continuing to measure emissions and putting the financial focus on reducing them through sustainability initiatives, Ricoh are making the transition to a low-carbon economy and ensuring the best possible outcome for the environment in the future.

Please feel free to contact Ricoh if you have any questions regarding this. As always, Ricoh assures you that it will continue to deliver a high standard of customer service and innovative products and solutions.
