Rick Shera – LLB, M.Com.Law (Hons), CITPNZ, CMInstD
Digital Business and Internet Lawyer
Rick has a Masters degree in copyright and internet law and is a partner at corporate, commercial and IT law firm, Lowndes Jordan. He focuses on digital business and internet law, including capital raising, IT, IP, cybersecurity and privacy.
He is chair of Netsafe and is the first lawyer to be accredited as a Chartered IT Professional by IT Professionals NZ. Rick has held various Government board appointments, is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and, in recognition of his contribution to the development of the internet in New Zealand, was made a Fellow of InternetNZ in 2017.

NZ SMB Territory Manager – Microsoft
Paul Bowkett manages the NZ SMB Territory at Microsoft New Zealand, working closely with Microsoft’s broad partner network and 3rd parties to help deliver Microsoft cloud services such as Office 365, Microsoft 365 and Azure to NZ business.
Over the past 25 years Paul has worked accross business applications, business productivity software and more recently cloud services businesses, with the last 16 years spent at Microsoft across Australia and NZ most recently spearheading Microsoft’s cloud offerings for the SMB market segment in NZ.
