The Ricoh IM series has set a benchmark in the mid-range copier market.

Buyers Lab (BLI), the world’s leading independent provider of testing services and analytical information to the document imaging industry, today announced its Pick award recipients in the Summer Printer/MFP category, with the accolades going to stellar devices.

The Summer 2019 Printer/MFP Pick awards go to the following exceptional devices:

IM C2000 and IM C2500

Awarded twice each year, Picks acknowledge the office equipment products that gave the best performances in Buyers Lab’s extensive suite of lab tests in the previous six months.

“Ricoh continues to impress us with its new IM C series of machines, as the IM C2000 and IM C2500, along with the Winter 2019 Pick-winning IM C4500, shine a light on the company in the low-end to mid-range color copier MFP spaces,” said George Mikolay, Associate Director of Copiers/Production at Keypoint Intelligence – Buyers Lab.

“The user experience is top-notch, thanks to a large, highly intuitive, Android-based touchscreen that offers user-by-user customization. Image quality is very good, and these devices also continue to set the industry benchmark for scanning with Ricoh Intelligent Scanning, winner of a Winter 2019 Outstanding Achievement in Innovation. Users can scan documents very quickly with these devices, while auto-file split capability enables multiple-page documents to be automatically scanned and emailed in manageable sizes in conjunction with a company’s email file size policy limits. Support for smaller-size items such as bank checks, receipts, and ID cards is very useful for those working in the finance or hospitality sectors. As with Canon, Ricoh is a trendsetter in the industry shift into cloud-ready MFPs, earning the 2019–2020 BLI PaceSetter award in the MFP Cloud Ecosystem category.”
