The 2016 Attitude Awards

Celebrating achievements in the disability sector

Oct 20th, 2016

Ricoh has provided printing support for the annual Attitude Awards since 2013 and is delighted to be part of the family of sponsors again in 2016.

The Attitude Awards celebrate achievements in the disability sector and Ricoh’s sponsorship includes general printing and covers the cost of specialised Braille programmes.

The aim of the event is to shine a spotlight on the disability sector and draw attention to the one in four New Zealanders who live with disability.

The awards salute artists, sportspeople and people with intellectual, physical and mental disabilities, both young and old. The event celebrates the achievement of the thousands of Kiwis who live with disability and also pays tribute to the employers who ensure they are able to contribute their skills to society and live full and satisfying lives.

Ricoh New Zealand’s Managing Director, Mike Pollok says the Attitude Awards’ focus on accessibility (as opposed to disability), fits with Ricoh’s corporate tagline imagine.change.

imagine.change. is more than just a tagline. Ricoh imagines what the future could bring and helps companies and individuals transform the way they work and harness their collective knowledge.

“I see strong linkages between our corporate purpose and that of the Attitude Awards – challenging us to look for possibility and opportunity and striving towards a more accepting, respectful and inclusive society.”

The 2016 Attitude Awards will be held at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland on Tuesday, 29 November.
