Another sustainability accolade for Ricoh
Ricoh Asia Pacific wins IAIR sustainability award
Hot on the heels of releasing its fifth sustainability report this week, Ricoh New Zealand is pleased to announce that its colleagues in Ricoh Asia Pacific were awarded the ‘Best Company for Sustainability Office Solutions Asia Pacific’ by International Alternative Investment Review magazine at its annual sustainability awards.
The judges awarded Ricoh Asia Pacific the Best Company award “For its ability in combining high quality technological solutions with a sustainable approach from its inception. Thanks to thedevelopment of energy saving technology, it enables CO2 reduction, minimising the environmental impact through user-friendly and innovative products while promoting green initiatives and social responsibility”.
Aaron Yim, Managing Director of Ricoh Hong Kong, accepted the award saying: “Ricoh is honoured to receive this recognition from IAIR. At Ricoh, development of environmental technologies is one of the most significant efforts made to realise sustainable environmental management. Furthermore, Ricoh’s sustainability commitment has also stepped up to Creating Shared Value (CSV) which focuses on three principles – Good for “Environment”, “Economy” and “People”. This new approach comes together with a clear objective of maintaining competitiveness to the customers’ benefits while promoting sustainable development.”
